As a form of social care for the Cilegon community, on 29 November 2025 PT Krakatau Chandra Energi (KCE) collaborated with 98 Resolution Network to distribute 600 basic necessity (sembako) packages to online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol), conventional motorcycle taxi drivers (opang), fishermen, and residents in the Samangraya area. This initiative reflects KCE’s commitment to being present and delivering tangible benefits to communities that are part of the company’s ecosystem. The social action, titled “Gotong Royong: Warga Peduli Warga” (Community Solidarity for Community Care), focused on informal sector workers who play a vital role in supporting daily mobility and community activities. In total, the assistance reached 300 online motorcycle taxi drivers, 150 conventional motorcycle taxi drivers, 100 fishermen, and 50 local residents of Samangraya. According to KCE’s Director of Operations and Commercial, Ari Azhar, the program represents the values of empathy and togetherness that the company consistently upholds.
Meanwhile, Restianti, a representative of 98 Resolution Network, stated that the collaboration aims to accelerate the equitable distribution of social assistance by bridging CSR programs from state-owned enterprises and the private sector to ensure they reach the right beneficiaries. A representative of conventional motorcycle taxi drivers, Muhammad Saleh, expressed his appreciation for KCE’s concern for informal transportation workers. “We are very grateful for this assistance. Thank you to KCE and the volunteers. We hope initiatives like this can continue in the future,” he said.
Through its social welfare–focused CSR programs, KCE continues to strengthen its role as an energy company that is not only reliable in delivering services, but also actively contributes to building a more caring, inclusive, and empowered society.
