PT Krakatau Chandra Energi (KCE) is an integrated energy company that focuses on providing reliable electricity, electrical services, and renewable energy for industrial and commercial customers. Operating primarily within the Krakatau Industrial Estate and beyond, KCE plays a strategic role in supporting national industrial growth by delivering high-quality energy solutions tailored to the needs of energy-intensive industries.
Three Pillars of Our Business
Electricity Provider
KCE’s core business is the generation and supply of electricity, operating a 120 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) designed to handle fluctuating load demands and support high-intensity industrial operations, with 2 Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and 1 Steam Turbine Generator, fueled primarily by natural gas, and are equipped with a compensator system to ensure voltage stability and power quality for PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk and other industrial facilities, residential areas, hotels, and commercial buildings.
Electrical Services
KCE also provides electrical and power plant–related services, including Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for solar power plants in Indonesia, Electrical Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, and Transformer and Electric Motor Solutions (TMS), delivering integrated solutions within system operations, project execution, equipment maintenance, technical support, and beyond.
Renewable Energy
PT Krakatau Chandra Energi (KCE) also developed and operated a 102 kWp rooftop solar power plant since July 2020 for our renewable energy products to align with national climate change mitigation policies and the energy transition agenda. This initiative reflects our commitment to developing clean energy solutions and support transition toward more sustainable growth in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
