PT Krakatau Chandra Energi Conducts Coral Replanting & Beach Clean Up

On November 1 2023, PT Krakatau Chandra Energi carried out coral reef conservation action as part of the company's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program by carrying out "Replanting Coral & Beach Clean Up", namely planting coral reefs and cleaning the coast at PT Krakatau Chandra Energi.

In carrying out this activity, KCE planted 200 coral reef seedlings attended by the Main Director of PT KCE Nandang Hariana, Director of Operations & Business Development Ari Azhar and PT KCE Employees. In this activity, KCE collaborated with the All Indonesian Diving Sports Association (POSSI) Banten for Monitoring & Maintenance of Coral Reefs.

The aim of this planting activity is to reduce carbon emissions which can affect the sustainability of ecosystems, especially in coastal areas, and also to repair and restore coral reefs damaged by various factors. By planting coral reefs, it is hoped that coral reefs can grow again and become a healthy environment for fish and other marine animals.

The Coral Reef Conservation Program is a concrete manifestation of KCE in carrying out its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) commitment by providing a good impact on the environment and communities around the company's operational areas.
